Adult Educator

The adult educator supports adult learning and self-development by organising and conducting trainings.

He plans the studies and conducts the trainings based on the needs of the target group, the specific characteristics of the learners and the learning outcomes of the curriculum. It prepares a training programme, selects teaching and assessment methods and selects and prepares training materials. Training courses are provided by general education, vocational and higher education institutions and private companies for adults.

The number of adult trainers is unknown, but the need for them is growing in the future.

For working as an adult educator, a master's degree is preferred.
