In the fields of performing arts, crafts, music and sports, and museums and libraries more than 17,000 employees are working together.

In the future, professional supervision in museums, libraries, music schools and circles will become increasingly important, in connection with which the need for teachers in these areas will increase. Professional mentoring of young people in sports, where additional coaches with professional certificates are required, is also important.

Libraries lack librarians with state-of-the-art skills, and a sufficient number of additions do not come from among university graduates. In theatres, light, sound and video technicians are lacking.

In the field of crafts, however, it will be increasingly difficult to find work in the future, as there are more graduates in textile crafts, ceramics and furniture restoration than they have job opportunities. A large proportion of graduates of craft specialties use acquired skills primarily as a hobby.

Music, performing arts and crafts, including especially freelance creatives, suffered a major setback from COVID-19 restrictions, and in the coming years, the job opportunities of musicians, actors and craftsmen may remain more difficult.
