Unemployment Insurance Fund Supports Learning
The events in the labour market show that one needs to be prepared for change, one needs quite different skills than one did decades ago.
The head of the Department of Skills Development and Career Services at the Unemployment Insurance Fund, Kerstin Holland, says that this is precisely why it is important to be ready to supplement yourself or learn something altogether to the other kind. "The Unemployment Insurance Fund supports the studies of both unemployed and working people in vocational and higher education."

Who will receive the support?
The support for participation in the level training will be received by anyone who has no vocational or professional education and has had a minimum of 5 years since the acquisition of basic or secondary education. In addition, people who have had at least 15 years since they graduated from a vocational or higher education institution.
What to go to study?

How much support is?
The amount of support in one month is the 31-fold daily rate of the unemployment benefit established by the state budget. The annual amount of the grant is published on the unemployment fund website. Income tax will be withheld on the grant. The grant will be paid during the entire period of study and you will not have to pay back the grant if your studies are discontinued
